HOW WE WIN FLORIDA
As the brilliant Stacey Abrams once said, "There are no red states, there are only suppressed states". Sadly, Florida is one of those suppressed states. Florida has been in Republican control for almost 25 years, and during all of that time there has been a concerted effort to undermine and marginalize the institutions and social norms that draw people to Democratic values and the Democratic Party. In the past, Florida Democrats have relied on strong minority turnout and inheriting enthusiastic Democrats from other states who settle here. However, that has been a naturally occurring circumstance. Florida Republicans gained the upper hand by being tactical, intentional and thoughtful in using their advantages to win elections. As you can guess, they have made the most of control of the Governorship, control of the State Legislature, shameless gerrymandering, and the ubiquitous and dominant presence of Fox News constantly broadcasting Republican messaging.
To win Florida, Democrats will have to take a new approach. This time, we must take nothing for granted, and operationalize every aspect of competing to win elections, not just registration and voter turn-out. The answer to the question: "How we win Florida?" is, we fight for every vote and ensure that every Floridian sees Democratic values in action, not just on TV or in social media, but in their communities and in their lives. That means Florida Democrats have to stand-up an entity that is a year-round, state-wide, permanent, professional, community-facing, voter engagement machine, and a meaningful partner to candidates across the state, providing the infrastructure, resources and skills to successfully compete against Republicans all over Florida.

Elections are about numbers. The 2020 election proved that despite having a party registration advantage, more registered voters in Florida vote right, than vote left.
That means we need more Democrats in Florida!
We can not register more left leaning voters unless we make or find more left thinking people.
Before we get people to register as Democrats, we have to be visible, meaningful and credible to them.
F4FF has a strategic plan to engage Floridians everywhere and build the community connection and impact that creates Democrats.
EDUCATE, ENGAGE & MOTIVATE
DEMOCRATIC VOTERS
Despite their abysmal policies and performance, both Ron DeSantis and Marco Rubio enjoy relatively high approval ratings in Florida. That is because Fox News is the main source of information for too many Floridians. Most Floridians have no idea how bad they really are. By the same token, too few Floridians have an accurate notion of what Democrats really stand for.
Messaging to Floridians must be a year-round activity. F4FF is designed to communicate with target audiences all the time, educating them on the issues engaging them to get involved and be prepared to vote, and motivating them to vote for the team that actually cares about their wellbeing.
MAXIMIZE TURN-OUT OF DEMOCRATIC VOTERS
What we learned in 2018 was that despite the fact that the Democrats had stronger candidates, Florida Republicans had a stronger infrastructure. Their ability to plug their nominees into an operational state-wide system gave them a large advantage in rural areas and the ability to focus attention on battleground districts. In 2020, the FLGOP gained even more ground by increasing their share of votes in blue districts.
To win in 2022, F4FF will build the kind of data-driven systems to make voter contact accurate and efficient, and will provide candidate campaigns, and grassroots organizations the resources, technical support, and logistical assistance to reach every single Florida voter possible.
In 2022, every district in Florida will have a strong Democratic team to support its local candidates.

HOW F4FF WILL FUNCTION
F4FF plans to be headquartered in the center of the state with a permanent headquarters office in Orlando, FL. It will also place Regional Hub Offices all over the state to serve the community, and house its professional field staff and various targeted voter engagement programs. Each Regional Hub Office will operate a fleet of Mobile Voter Engagement Units (vans) to extend their reach directly into the community. Soon, F4FF will be seen everywhere, making a positive impact in the lives of Floridians.

Here's the bottomline: Florida Democrats cannot win Florida on our own. We need the help and support of America's Democrats to break the stranglehold on power of Florida Republicans. But THIS is the fight worth joining right now. In addition to a critical governorship, and one of the best shots at picking up a Senate seat in the country, all of the Florida Legislature and constitutional offices, such as Attorney General and Chief Financial Officer, are also up for grabs. Furthermore, we can't ignore that with the new census and redistricting, Florida alone could sway control of the House of Representatives.
